What This Decision Table Is All About:

Welcome to the thinking person's approach to Decision Making. With this table you can evaluate any number of life's decisions by selecting criteria and weighing the possible alternatives against your values of those criteria. This is simply an adaptation of one of the many decision analysis tools available today. It was first introduced to me verbally in 1977 by a fellow MBA student Bill Schenk. It is a derivative of the Kepner-Tregoe Matrix developed at The Rand Corporation in the 1950's. 

It was developed here because it seems to be difficult for many of us to decide between the major choices we are faced with each year and the Internet is a good place to find help. 

It is fairly easy and it should only take a few minutes to complete. Once completed, you will be able to more comfortably make your choice for the next decision you'll be facing. By sifting through all the information and using this table, you'll be making sound decisions, you'll be more satisfied and consequently you'll feel even more rewarded with your results.

Enjoy completing it alone or as an educational tool with your children. You may want to review it with your spouse or significant other. You may even decide to e-mail it or it's link to your friends and associates. Of course you can also save it to your hard drive or print it to fill it in over time while researching. It is pretty wide so we recommend printing in 'landscape mode' especially if you are thinking of three alternatives. 

To clear the numbers once you've finished, simply click on the 'Reset' button at the bottom. Remember, 'Reset' clears all the fields back to start. Closing it when working on or off-line clears it as well. Good Luck.
