William 'Doc' Haggerty (2008)

  • Country Western and Swing dancing and entertaining since March, 1991*

  • Hosts and DJ's at Mon (Hustle) & Wed (West Coast Swing) Dances at The VIII Fifty Restaurant in Roswell, GA (Since 11/07).

  • Hosted, DJ'd and Taught at a Wednesday Variety Dance Night at Michaele's School of Dance in Kennesaw, GA from 8 to 11 PM (Since 1/07).

  • Taught a Monthly Thursday Night Dance Lesson for North Georgia Singles at Diamond Dave's in Kennesaw, GA (7/05 to 1/07).

  • Hosted & DJ'd A Wednesday Variety Dance Night at La Brasa Grille in Roswell, GA (9/06 to 12/06).

  • Taught beginning Hustle and Performed as Host & DJ at The 57th Fighter Group Restaurant in Atlanta on Wed from 7:30 to Close (5/05 to 9/05).

  • Taught Beginning Hustle and Performed as Host of 'Hustle, Etc' at the Atlanta Perimeter Marriott on Thursdays 7:30 to Midnight (10/04 to 5/05).

  • Taught Three original Line Dances at The Gateway UCWDC Dance Festival St Louis, Mo (4/05)

  • Won Two 1st Place Line Dance Choreography Awards at The UCWDC Gateway Dance Festival St Louis, Mo (4/05):

    • LINE DANCE CHOREOGRAPHY COUNTRY NEW/NOV

  • Performed as Karaoke KJ at 57th Fighter Group Restaurant in Atlanta, GA (From 4/04 to 7/04).

  • Taught Dance Lessons at Cowboy's Dancehall in Kennesaw, GA on Sundays (From 9/03 to 5/04).

  • Produced a 1 Hour Variety Show for Kennesaw Big Shanty Festival 4/18/04 - Show included original Line Dance Choreography, Singers accompanied by Line Dancing, a Dance Lesson and a Six Member Dance Team Performance (The Redneck Posse - Directed by C. J. Gilson)

  • Won Line Dance Choreography Newcomer/Novice - Country Division - 'Wishes' 1st Place - UCWDC Southern National Dance Competition, Biloxi, MS (10/03)

  • Performed as Marshall Cord Elam, dancer, chorus member and minor choreographer in FL Amateur Theatre Production of Oklahoma (3/97)

  • Taught Country Western workshops in CT- Two Step, Swing, Waltz (10/92, 4/93, 8/93 & 12/93)

  • Attended TNN cable network C/W Dance Show - Club Dance (Fall 1992)

  • Taught Two Step, Other Couples Dances & Line Dancing at Great American Cafe, Glastonbury, CT on Wednesdays (5/92-5/94)

  • Taught Line Dancing at The Travelers Insurance Company HQ Taking Care Center, Hartford, CT on Tuesdays (4/93-5/94)

  • Won a locally sponsored Dance Competition in Connecticut – Waltz 8/92

  • Danced the Waltz on-stage with partner & two other couples in front of 3,000 concertgoers at Kenny Rogers CT Concert 8/92

  • Taught at Country Western Workshop Roundup Weekend in Vermont 8/92

  • Choreographs line dances and written routines for couples dances

  • Produced a Hustle, Two-Step, Tango & Cha Cha Cha CD Practice Series

  • Produced a Texas Two-Step Audio Tape Practice Series (3 tapes)

*Originally learned the Two-Step during a business trip to Dallas in 1978. This was during the late 70's when Doc was Disco dancing in PA & NJ weekly. He's been Swing dancing since the 'Swing Revival' in Albany, NY 1976.
